Omar’s Timepieces is an independent dealer in Nad Al Hamar, Dubai. We are not affiliated with Patek Philippe. Before any Patek Philippe is listed, our specialists check the movement, case, dial, bracelet or strap, the serial and reference numbers, and the documents against the reference. Anything that fails, whether a replica, a modified piece or a watch with a removed serial, is turned away.
Each listing shows photos of the actual watch, states its condition and says exactly what is included, whether box, papers or both. Want to see more before deciding? Ask on WhatsApp for extra photos, a video or a written condition report.

THE OMAR’S ADVANTAGE
Why Buy Your Patek Philippe From Omar’s Timepieces?
Patek Philippe is a market of references. Two watches with the same model name can be valued very differently because of a dial code, a metal letter or a missing certificate. That is why we describe every watch by its full reference. Our founder, Omar Hatamleh, has spent many years in the watch business. Each piece is priced from recent comparable sales and the live Dubai market, with reference, dial, condition, year, service history and completeness all taken into account.
Our dealer warranty on mechanical function comes with every watch, and clients have given us a 4.9 rating on Google. You can trade in your current watch towards a Patek Philippe. If you would rather sell, we buy outright at today’s Dubai market price and pay within 5 minutes.

Patek Philippe Buying Guide
Patek Philippe in Brief
Antoni Patek and François Czapek founded the company in Geneva in 1839. Adrien Philippe, a French watchmaker known for his keyless winding system, joined in 1845, and the firm became Patek Philippe & Co. in 1851. The Stern family bought it in 1932, the year the first Calatrava appeared, and still runs it today. The Nautilus followed in 1976, the Aquanaut in 1997 and the Cubitus in 2024.
How to Choose Your Patek Philippe
The first question is how and where you will wear it. The Nautilus and Aquanaut are the sports collections, and their core time-and-date references are water resistant to 120 metres. The Cubitus adds a larger, square option to the sports family. The Calatrava is the dress watch, slim enough to slip under a shirt cuff. Grand Complications suit collectors who want a perpetual calendar, a split-seconds chronograph or a chiming watch.
In Dubai’s summer heat, the Aquanaut’s composite strap and the bracelets of the Nautilus and Cubitus are the practical daily choices. Leather-strapped Calatravas and complications come into their own in air-conditioned offices and at evening events.
Aquanaut: since 1997, 40.8 mm and 42.2 mm; 38.8 mm for Luce, Embossed dial, composite “Tropical” strap.
Nautilus: since 1976, 40 to 41 mm; 35.2 mm for the ladies’ 7118, Porthole-shaped case, integrated bracelet.
Calatrava: since 1932, Mostly 36 to 40 mm, Round dress case, hobnail bezel options.
Cubitus: since 2024, 45 mm at launch, Square case, integrated bracelet.
Grand Complications: since Varies, Varies by reference, Perpetual calendars, split-seconds chronographs, repeaters.
Reading a Patek Philippe Reference
A full reference tells you most of what you need. In 5711/1A-010, 5711 is the model, /1 shows a bracelet, A means steel and -010 identifies the dial version. The other metal letters are R for rose gold, G for white gold, J for yellow gold and P for platinum. Combinations such as AR mean steel with rose gold. A longer suffix, such as /1300A on the diamond-bezel Nautilus, usually points to gem-setting.
Compare the complete reference, including the dial code, before you compare prices. A 5167A-001 and a 5167R-001 share a model number, but they sit in different markets.
Papers, Archives and the Patek Philippe Seal
Modern Patek Philippe watches come with a Certificate of Origin recording the reference and the case and movement numbers. For older watches, or watches that have lost their papers, Patek Philippe can issue an Extract from the Archives. It confirms the original specification and date of manufacture. Since 2009, the company’s watches have carried the Patek Philippe Seal, its own quality standard, which replaced the Geneva Seal.
A watch without papers is not automatically a problem, but it is worth less than a full set. That is why every listing states which documents are included.
Steel, Gold and Platinum
Patek Philippe uses steel sparingly, mostly in its sports collections, which helps explain why steel Nautilus and Aquanaut references are so keenly sought. Rose gold has a warm tone. White gold looks like steel at a glance but is far heavier. Yellow gold appears mainly in dress and complicated pieces. Platinum is kept for some of the most important references, and Patek Philippe traditionally sets a small diamond in the case at 6 o’clock to mark it.
What Moves a Patek Philippe Price
Reference comes first, and discontinued references trade on their own market once production ends. Within a reference, the dial version, metal, condition, year, service history and completeness all move the figure. Sharp, unpolished cases and full sets with matching papers command more. Aftermarket diamonds or replacement dials cut value sharply, and we never list modified watches.
Patek Philippe Buying Checklist
Whichever model you choose, work through these checks before you pay.
Match the full reference, including the dial suffix, to the papers.
Confirm the case and movement numbers on the watch agree with the documents.
Ask whether any diamonds and the dial are factory original.
Inspect sharp edges and brushed surfaces for heavy polishing.
Request service records, especially for complicated references.
Check that the original bracelet, strap, clasp or buckle is included.
Test winding, setting, the date and every complication.

How We Inspect Every Patek Philippe
With Patek Philippe, inspection starts with the numbers. We match the case number, movement number and full reference to the papers. We then examine the movement and its finishing, and check that the Patek Philippe Seal or Geneva Seal fits the watch’s age. The dial, hands and markers are checked for originality, and the case for polishing or later modification.
Next, we wind and set the watch and work through every function, from the date to a chronograph or perpetual calendar. Anything we find is written into the listing, so you know the condition before you ask.
A watch that fails any of these checks is never offered for sale.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you affiliated with Patek Philippe?
No. Omar’s Timepieces is an independent dealer in Dubai with no affiliation to Patek Philippe or any other brand. We buy and sell pre-owned watches, and our own specialists authenticate and inspect every Patek Philippe before it is listed.
Which Patek Philippe models can I buy from you?
Our focus is the Aquanaut, Nautilus, Calatrava, Cubitus and Grand Complications, each with its own page and buying guide. Other references, such as World Time and annual calendar models, also pass through our listings, and we can source them on request.
How can I tell a pre-owned Patek Philippe is genuine?
Papers alone prove little, because they can be separated from a watch. The movement, case, dial and bracelet must be checked, and the case and movement numbers must match the documents. We do this for every Patek Philippe before listing, and replicas never enter our stock.
What papers should come with a Patek Philippe?
A modern watch should have its Certificate of Origin, which records the reference and serial numbers. Older watches may come with an Extract from the Archives instead. The original box and any service papers add to completeness. Each of our listings states exactly which of these is included.
What is the Patek Philippe Seal?
It is Patek Philippe’s own quality standard, introduced in 2009, and it covers the whole watch rather than only the movement. Watches made before then usually carry the Geneva Seal. Either is correct for its era, and we check that the seal on the movement matches the age of the watch.
How do you price a pre-owned Patek Philippe?
Watch by watch. We start from recent comparable sales and the live Dubai market for that exact reference. Dial, condition, year, service history and completeness then move the figure up or down. The price on each listing reflects that individual watch, not a model average.
How can I pay for a Patek Philippe?
For a Patek Philippe, we take cash or cryptocurrency. Every sale is documented with a formal invoice in the name of Omar’s Timepieces LLC. Informal channels and third-party payment apps are never used, which protects buyer and seller alike.
Is there a warranty on a pre-owned Patek Philippe?
Yes. Whatever the reference, a Patek Philippe bought from us carries our own dealer warranty on its mechanical function. We walk you through what it includes before you pay, so there are no surprises after the handover.
Do you deliver Patek Philippe watches outside Dubai?
Yes. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or anywhere else in the Emirates gets the same free, insured, same-day delivery once your order is confirmed. Beyond the UAE, we handle shipping case by case, with a quote for each order.
Can I see a Patek Philippe in person before buying?
Yes. Every viewing is private and booked in advance on WhatsApp, since we do not accept walk-ins. Appointment hours are 9 AM to 8 PM from Monday to Wednesday, 9 AM to 5 PM on Thursday, 2 PM to 9 PM on Friday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Saturday, with Sunday closed.
Can I trade in my watch towards a Patek Philippe?
Yes. Tell us the reference, condition and what comes with your watch, ideally with photos, and we will value it against the current Dubai market. That value is then set against the Patek Philippe you want. If you prefer to sell outright, we pay within 5 minutes by your preferred method: cash, bank transfer or crypto.
Can you find a Patek Philippe reference that isn’t listed?
Often, yes. Our search reaches beyond our own listings to collectors and dealers in Dubai, Europe and Asia, for specific references, dials and configurations. Tell us what you want and your budget on WhatsApp. There is no obligation until we find the watch.
