Richard Mille 010MBZ first GP OF ABU DHABI 2009

The 2009 Race of Champions, held from November 2 to 4 immediately following the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, features Richard Mille as the main sponsor and official timekeeper. The Sultan and Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Bin Zayed, placed a special order for this item, available in only 200 units. They were designed for the first Formula 1 Grand Prix, which began on November 1, 2009.

The track layout and the inscriptions “Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Etihad Airways” are engraved on the dial of this model. The Sultan's insignia, MBZ, replaced Richard Mille's initial identification, “RM,” thus creating the MBZ 010 label.

From the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 circuit to collectors in Dubai, the RM 010MBZ has become a symbol of Middle Eastern sophistication.

A RACING ENGINE ON YOUR WRIST

This automatic mechanical watch with a titanium case features a skeletonized dial with luminescent Arabic numerals and a 48 mm x 39.3 mm case. It includes hours, minutes, seconds, and date. The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters and features a black ventilated rubber strap with a classic titanium double spring folding clasp. A vertical date window is located at 7 o'clock.

The RM AS7-5511 automatic mechanical caliber powers the Richard Mille MBZ 010 in titanium. It also features 32 jewels, a 28,800 vibrations per hour rotor with variable geometry, and grade 2 titanium for the arm and bezel. In addition, it uses grade 5 titanium screws for its modification.
